Biography

Dick Fitchie recently retired from Meyer Material Company. He started in sales in 1972 with Brady Ready Mix, which became part of Meyer in 1999. Dick served as vice president of the Elgin Sports Hall of Fame Foundation prior to being president in 2004-2005. In addition, he was on the board of the St. Edward Education Foundation for nine years, including four years as president (1992-1995). Dick is currently a member of the St. Edward Booster Club, the Elgin Riverside Club, the Owls Club, and the American Legion Post 57 as a social member.
