Bobbie Waschow is a graduate of Elgin High School. She has been active in the Elgin sports community for many years. Bobbie has been a member of the Elgin High Booster Club, the Elgin National Little League Board of Directors, for whom she sold advertising for the program book, and the Elgin American Little League Board of Directors. While she was involved at Elgin American, Bobbie helped in the development of the softball diamond for girls 13-15 from Elgin National and coached a team. She worked at the Courier News from 1985 through May of 2006 where she also sold advertising for such groups as the Chamber of Commerce. Bobbie served as President of the Elgin Women’s Club from 2002-2004 and is currently the 2^nd Vice-President (Ways & Means).
